French Wardrobe circa 1910
This antique wardrobe is a solid oak piece of furniture dating from around 1910. Characteristic of this style are the curved pediment, also known as a "gendarme's hat" pediment, and the double doors.

The doors, side panels, and the exterior surfaces of the upper and lower sections are made of solid oak. The back panel and top shelf are made of pine. The upper and lower sections are a combination of solid oak, beech, and pine.
The top shelf has been replaced with a new one made of pine.

Features: Two paneled doors, two drawers in the lower section, and a decorative, carved floral ornament in the upper section.
Condition: Often in very good, restored original condition with minor signs of age.
